A quick post from the north

Here I am back in my hometown again. I've been rather enjoying getting over my cold in the comfort of my old living room while working on making a hat and hanging with my mom. The perpetual turkey is nice too.

It's snowing here now, and I may have to cut my trip short by a day or two in order to make it back safe. I'd hoped on working on reading my book towards my research paper, but have not found the time/motivation to do so. If anyone wants to drop me a line to yell at me to get on it, it would be greatly appreciated. I have to finish my degree sometime.

I am going into a bit of denial knowing that this season of EE is almost over at my job, and now we will have to wait for work until after the new year. Let's hope my other job decides to give me hours again, I'd really appreciate being able to make some money in the meantime.
